Ebike Review: Magnum Peak T7

I’ve been waiting to review a Magnum ebike and that day is finally here. They sent me my first choice the trail beast Peak T7, a 750 watt electric mountain bike.

Last year I discovered the brand at the Electrify Expo on Long Island and it was my favorite ebike I rode that day. The company is headquartered in Utah and you should think of them as a premium ebike company since they offer high quality in the $2k-$3k price ranges.

Magnum Peak T7 Review

According to their website they describe themselves as: “Magnum stands out in the market by offering top quality yet affordable electric bikes, with custom-designed frames, our proprietary electrical system, and carefully-sourced premium quality mechanical and electronic components.”

T7 SPECS

  • 750 Watt Rear Hub Motor
  • 20 Amp Hour Battery with Samsung Cells
  • Torque Sensor
  • Thumb Throttle
  • 35 to 65 Mile range
  • Suntour Front Suspension
  • 28 MPH Top Speed
  • 11 Speeds (paddle shifter)
  • 42T Chainring
  • Tires CST Patrol 27.5 x 2.8
  • Weighs 66 pounds with battery

If you want to exercise and hit the trails this is the ebike for you. With the torque sensor you need to work your legs to get the full power of that 750 watt motor. I love the look of this hardtail ebike with the flared mud fenders and the CST tires.

It’s quite comfortable to ride and you can feel the quality of the ebike once you mount it. Standover height is 31 inches, and the bike is 74 inches long. Should fit riders 5″6 and above.
