Actbest Zcool Folding Ebike Review | $799 On Amazon

The Actbest Zcool available on Amazon offers dual suspension for under $1,000. 750 watts and a 15 AH battery. Not bad for an ebike that wants to compete with the Lectric XP.

This is the 2nd Actbest ebike I’ve had for review, the first being their commuter style ebike. I like the Zcool better than the first one. Here’s a look at its key specs;

  • Motor: 750 Watt Rear Hub
  • Battery: 15 AH 48 Volt (seatpost)
  • Tires: 20×3 Knobby’s
  • Folding Frame
  • Massive Front Headlight
  • Rear brake light
  • Rear Rack
  • Dual Suspension
  • Mechanical Disk Brakes
  • 3 Amp Charger

The Zcool weighs just 69 pounds and the ebike is very approachable form a mounting standpoint. Should fit most riders.

Top speed is around 25 MPH. The suspension is stiff but solid. You get a lot of ebike for the money. I did have a few problems like with the seatpost clamp getting stuck. But it has great lighting and good range thanks to the 15 amp hour battery. The brakes are just average, but any ebike at this price is going to have average mechanical brakes. Also the gearing is just so-so. There is ghost pedaling at the higher speeds and your legs spin fast.

The Zcool is a good value budget ebike. If you can get past the no-name brand you’ll probably like it. Also its not another cookie cutter frame. It will be hard to find another dual suspension ebike at that kind of price.
