Upright! Cafe Cruiser from Ride1Up is Comfy, Casual

The Cafe Cruiser from Ride1up is the latest ebike review courtesy of the company. This is my third ebike review from their lineup having previously tested the Core5 and LMT’D.

Here’s how Ride1Up describes the Cruiser;

Blissful comfort and plus-one cargo capabilities blended together for one of the most versatile and functional eBikes money can buy. Install our passenger kit and add a passenger on the back of the electric bike while cruising around your town. You no longer have to sacrifice style or comfort to have all the features you want on electric bikes, the Cafe Cruiser blends them all into one ebike.

Not only is the CafeCruiser comfortable to ride but it also features a unique frame style that I have never seen on another ebike. Those 40 degree swept back handlebars help make the ebike so smooth to ride. They almost surround you as you roll over pavement.

  • Powerful 750w sustained geared hub motor with 60nm torque
  • 30-50 miles depending on rider weight, terrain, incline, level of assist, etc.
  • Lightweight Alloy Frame with internal protected & locked electronics
  • Frame geometry & components built for “the most comfortable ride ever”
  • 26×3 Sandstorm ebike street tires
  • 48V Geared Hub Bafang Motor 750w Sustained

Overall I found very little to complain about. The LCD display is small and the kickstand gets in the way of the pedal. Otherwise its an excellent ebike.
