Ebike Review: Heybike Horizon Dual Suspension Folder

Heybike in ‘da house! Meet the Horizon, a rather unique offering thanks to its folding capability, 24 inch fat tires and dual suspension. It sells for just $1,499 but with my discount code CC100 you can get $100 bucks off that!

COLORS: Gradient Black, Blue & Black, Cyan & Pearl, Sunset. Learn more to buy the Horizon.

SIZING: Weight 79 lbs, Payload 330 lbs, 17 inch standover height, 49x23x31 when folded.

Power comes from a 750 rear hub that peaks at 1400W. It has 80 nm of torque so it gets off the line well compared to most ebikes. Top speed with pdeal or throttle tops out at 28 MPH.

The battery is a 48 Volt 14.4 AH which equates to 692 watt hours of juice. It comes with a large 4 amp charger for a charging time of about 4 hours.

It rides on 24×4 Chaoyang Fat Tires and is stopped by grippy RSX hydraulic brakes with 180mm rotors.

The Horizon also has a front light, brake light and front and rear turn signals. There is also an auto sensor light button. Front travel suspension is decent and the mid shock is stiff but cannot be adjusted. I found that it works well over bumps.
