I traded for the Engwe X26, a dual battery monster ebike with triple suspension and dual batteries. If ever there was a big guy ebike this is it.
The X26 also folds making it the heaviest folding ebike on the market. It weighs over 100 lbs… 112 ibs they say, with the dual batteries and all that suspension.
It can reach a top speed of 30+ MPH though it takes a while to get there. Power delivery takes a while to come on. The dual battery version has a 10ah battery in the frame and a 19.2ah in the seatpost that you have to plug in via a small cable.
The 1000w Motor peaks at 1200 watts. It has 8 gears, 26×4 inch fatties, hydraulic disc brakes and features 70 nm of torque. Payload capacity comes in at 330 pounds.
What I Like
Unique look, good choice for heavier riders. Triple suspension makes it a go anywhere ebike.
What I Don’t
I think the handlebars are a little low so a set up bars with a higher rise would make it more comfortable. Power is lumbering and not quick off the line.
The price of the X26 comes in at $1,749 right now but if you choose the other versions with smaller tire sizes you can save a few bucks.
