Flyer Flex is their New Utility Ebike

I spent some time wit the Radio Flyer’s new FLYER FLEX ebike. It’s essentially a short-tail cargo ebike from the family friendly brand of ebikes. I have already review the M880 and the Flyer Via.

The Flyer Flex comes in two colors, black or space gray blue which was the one they sent me. It comes in two sizes S/M for riders 5″0 to 6″0 and M/L for those 5″5 to 6″5. The bike weighs 67 lbs with a total payload of 330lbs.

An app can also be downloaded to control the ebike settings. The Flex costs $2,299 at the time of this writing.

The Flex is powered by a 500 watt motor and a 48 Volt 9.8 AH UL listed battery with a range of 20-40 miles

It’s a torque sensor ebike feature a large 56T chainring and 7 gears for easy pedaling. The Flex has hydraulic disk brakes, a 24 inch front tire and 20 inch in the rear. The smaller rear tire allows for a more kid friendly height in the back so they can sit. It even has turn signals with an auto-shut off feature.

Flyer ebikes are well refined and geared towards families. They’re a solid choice when it comes to that audience. The price of the FLEX is a bit higher than most ebikes but in this market you get what you pay for. If you purchase, you can have peace of mind that it is backed by the trusted Radio Flyer brand.
