KBO K2 is the Best New Low Cost Ebike

Ebike prices continue to tumble which is great news for consumers. KBO, which has been around for a few years now just sent me the K2 their new lightweight folding ebike that costs ONLY $699. And with the code: CROSSED you can get a further $20 off that price by clicking here.

KBO K2 Review

I think the K2 is the lowest priced 500w ebike you can buy today. It comes with a 10.4ah battery, 20×3 inch grippy tires, basic front suspension and of course it folds.

It has 7 speeds and comes with mechanical disk brakes sitting on 160mm rotors. A rear rack and metal fenders are included. Weighing in at just 55 lbs, this folding ebike is a good choice for truck drivers, apartment dwellers, vacationers or anyone who appreciates big things in a small package.

The K2 is also a very similar ebike to Lectric’s XP Series. If the XP 3.0 and the XP Lite had a baby it would be the K2. Its lightweight and cheap price remind me of the Lite and its specs are like the XP 3.0.

What I Like: the price, the portability and the value you get for the money. The K2 also has good styling.

What I Don’t: Brakes are kind of hard to squeeze (they take effort), front wheel was locked in place after unboxing so had to remove it and reinsert.
