Lectric XPedition 1 Year Update & New Tires

I didn’t ride my cargo ebike, the Lectric Xpedition much over the winter but now that spring is herein the Northeast I hope to log some miles on it soon. I’ve had the ebike for 1 year now and haven’t had too many problems in the roughly 300 miles I have on it.

My main complaint about the Xpedition are the tires, they have very little tread and not much sidewall which makes cornering a little unstable. So I have rectified that by putting on some CST Big Boat tires (20×3), the big boats have a much better street tread and are a little thicker. I got them off the Rad website since they sell them with a reflective strip.

I also added some red accents you can see in the video including new folding pedals, bell and valve caps.

The Xpedition can be configured for two batteries and that gives me about 80 miles of real world range.

My previous mods can be seen in the video below. On my bucket list this summer is doing some Door Dashing with this handy cargo ebike, stay tuned.
