Looks like an Ebike, Ride Likes a Scooter

I received the Caroma K4 Electric Scooter a brand you can shop on Amazon. At just $349 its one of the cheapest most effective ways to get into the micro-mobility market.

If you are looking for a quick trip scooter thact acts and feels like an ebike this ride may be for you. It offers functionality although not much range. It comes with a front collapsible basket and a rear seat with built in handle for a passenger.

Power comes from a 500 watt rear hub motor and a 48V 7.8AH removable battery. the key must be in the on position in order to ride. Claimed range is 15 miles total.

Tires are ‘ebike like’ 20×3 knobbies, and it features mechanical disk brakes with 180mm rotors. The only display is for the battery levels and it has a on/off switch on the right side. Left side has the light button and cruise control button.

If you dont like riding traditional scooters and just want to throttle while seated the Caroma K4 seems like a good value in my initial testing.
