Rad is Launching New Ebikes

Rad Power Bikes which has been quiet lately, has finally announced some new models as well as some new safe battery features. Founder Mike Radenbaugh appeared on a new video touting the new lineup.

The new lineup features two new models as well as upgrades to the cargo ebike and RadExpand.

• Radster™ Trail electric off-road bike

• Radster™ Road electric commuter bike

• RadWagon™ 5 electric cargo bike

• RadExpand™ 5 Plus electric folding bike.

They will come with torque sensors, 8 new colors and are UL listed. They will also reach class 3 speeds up to 28MPH. The “SafeShield” batteries are encapsulated in a heat absorbing resin which can extend longevity. They’ll also be using higher end 21700 cells. The new 750 watt motor is also quiet and more powerful. The new Radster looks pretty sweet and will come with 100nM of torque!
