I thought I’d give my XPedition a break and try out the AQ177 from Aniioki to do some Uber Eats deliveries. Its quite a different ebike from the ling tail dual battery setup my XPedition offers.
The PROS: A big advantage the AQ177 has is the overall speed and range I can get vs other dual battery cargos. It has to be charged much less often and I can get around faster thanks to its top speed for 30MPH. It also uses NFC keys for turning it on so I feel safe leaving it for a few min while i enter a restaurant and grab my order. The battery is a 52V 60AH which dwarfs almost every ebike on the market. I could go 100 miles on throttle only if I need to. Front and rear suspension allow me to tackle pot holes and bumps with ease.
The CONS: My biggest complaint is the size of the rear rack, its roughly 11×16 which is fairly small compared to the Lectric rack they sell for delivery riders. I cant fit more that 2 orders at once which limits my carry capacity. Its slow to get up to speed so doesn’t have great torque off the line.
But I do enjoy mainly throttling my way to orders and it does seem to increase the speed of my deliveries vs other ebikes that I have to pedal to reach top speed.
